The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness. I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out,
I found, was really going in.

Forest Center is rooted in the following principles:

~Self, society and nature co-participate as mutually dependent aspects of one ecosphere. Understanding how these            interpenetrate can positively impact our transition to a "more beautiful world".

~All life is more likely to flourish when our actions rise out of the felt experience of our ecological self that deeply senses    our interconnected existence and thus, is spontaneously drawn to living reciprocally with all beings.

~Ways of learning that are exploratory and emergent and that honor not-knowing give way to new paradigms.

~Encountering the self ecologically ~ as a member of the whole ~ happens often when one is fully immersed and                  receptive in the natural world - our original home.
